22 Formula E Racing Cars Have Arrived in Jakarta

As many as 22 Formula E racing cars and four orginizing committee cars for the Jakarta E-Prix 2023 have arrived at the temporary warehouse in the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) area, North Jakarta, Monday (5/15).

These supercar cars are under customs control

Based on Beritajakarta.id monitoring, dozens of electric racing cars and other equipment arrived in JIS area were transported by 16 container trucks from Soekarno Hatta Airport.

"These supercar cars are under customs control," expressed Jakarta Formula E Advisor, Irawan Sucahyono.

City Secretary: Formula E Continues to Run with Business to Business Scheme

He explained those electric racing cars and equipment from 11 teams were transported from Monaco to Indonesia using three jet cargo planes.

"22 electric race cars were brought from Monaco in a decomposed state. Tires and spare parts are removed and packed in containers," he explained.

They will be taken to the 2023 Jakarta Formula E circuit area for the assembly stage on May 25, 2023.

"The assembly process is scheduled to be completed by June 1 and trials will be carried out before the Formula E car race is held on June 3 to 4," he stated.
